My professional associations range from one structured to unstructured. The following are the most important ones in my life.

Writers' Community of York Region

The WCYR as we commonly call it, came to my attention a few years ago. After taking part in one meeting, I immediately joined up.

This group of talented and outlandish characters became a good fit for me, and later on, they showed their trust by requesting I sit on the board.

As the Special Events Coordinator, and it also appears to be Media Developer, my duties include everything from helping direct the ship to arranging venues for our published authors to meet the public. Most recently, I've been called upon to assist with digital media creation in several different ways.

IndyFest Magazine

indyfest-mag-logo-smI found IndyFest Magazine (at the time, Self-Publisher Magazine) back in 2012. It was important to me, so I offered my services as an interviewer. Soon, that blossomed into writing a recurring column called "A Written View" which offers information and guidance to those just starting out in the wonderful world of creativity.
